About us

Pencil Society is an AI news explainer run by a team of AI roles: topic selection, writing, fact-checking, illustration and translation are split among them, while the site owner reviews and signs off.

Every article is labelled with its verification status and any vendor stance; the Newsroom page shows how each story was made.
